You know, I’ve done some traveling in my life but I’ve never got this homesick.
Me and Liquilife drove down to PAX, the penny arcade video game expo being held in seattle.
We drove through the mountains and I didn’t even know that it was possible for your ears to pop while driving.
They did no the less and I went stone deaf! Good thing cause Liquilife was rambling about something less interesting.
As we approached Seattle, the suspense was at it’s peak, but as we entered the local traffic, the first thing I started thinking “WHOA! lets turn back! Cause this traffic is crazy!”
Of course we didn’t turn back, we came this far and we were going to see this through!
We found a glorious 1 star hotel called....star motel!
It was pretty bad folks, it was actually so bad, I didn’t even bother to take pictures of our room!
I am usually not the picky type but it was like a dog have had a flee-bath in there.
The sheets were gloriously burned with cigarettes (yummaaayh).
Either way, so we were now in Seattle, now to FIND the expo itself. Seattle, seriously! You’ve gotta do something about them roads!
I didn’t even know where I was most of the time, not to mention that Liquilife was flaming because of it!
After an hours ordeal that should’ve been a 7 minute drive, we found a garage!
Now here comes the lines!
Keep in mind that there was another room with a line filled like this
Look at that madness!!!! We were in line for a hour! Not only did I need to pee really badly, Liquilife still hasn’t calmed down from the entire “driving through Seattle” ordeal, so he was on a limb. I can almost say that if more things went wrong, he’d pull down his pants and would start to throw brownie cakes at people. So we enter the expo hall itself, so many people. Keep in mind folks, I don’t like crowds, never did and never will. I like being an anonymous person in some manor I suppose.
I think Godfree sits on a banana
I’ve met some nice buds I’ve known for a long time. GTR people and Blue skittle peeps. I was fairly overwhelmed, everyone seemed so energetic and I had a hard time going with the flow. Everyone were busy doing their thing so me and Liquilife went out marry way and did our thing, which is SHWAGGIN! We got so much swag that my shoulder and body still hurts.
I played some games in various booths, PGR4 looked awesome and Liquilife went rock and roll on Rock Band. We also did some Playstation Karaoke.
Now seeing Liquilife being told by a mashine how bad his voice is was a treat!!
I missed JVB, that he wasn’t there was a downer, but for him I took a picture with Masterchief!
First day of PAX ended and we were exhausted. Heading back to find our car was a mess. Ever seen the movie “dude, where is my car?”
Well...you get my drift, we went through 3 packing lots till we found our car!
We came back to the hotel and just passed out.
Second day started and Godfree was going to be represeting in a panel about blogging and podcasting.
Godfree did good, he has to be more aggressive, cause that JoyStick guy wouldn’t let anyone talk without interrupting!
Godfree got a specific question about podcasting, as he catch his breath the Joystick guy very rudely interrupted godfree.
Major Nelson did some punches on Nintendo and Playstation which in my opinion was pretty uncalled for, but hey, what can you do?
The day got better non the less!
I got a signed miniposter by Greg Rucka!
Behold it’s glory!
I also got a signed minicard by Caitlyn Glass - fullmetal alchemist!
I entered the competition to win signed dollies, but my luck only takes me so far!
Second day went by fast, since ma and Liquilife were doing some MAJOR SCHWAAAAAGGIN!
Behold! the glory of shwag!
Note that this is a queen sized bed!
Sunday came around and we went home, I have to say I was so happy to enter Spokane county.
There is no place like home!
Will I go back someday? Who knows. there is still alot of shwag in the world to find!

Sorry about the hotel and some online people suck. They really need to find their true selves and start socializing with real community people, isn’t that what we are all about?
Btw, loved that image!
