6 years ago, I adopted a cat and namned him Kaiser (kaiser is the latin word for ceasar).
I left with him my mom 2 years ago to live with her while I went to America.
I missed him alot and was hoping to see him again soon.

Today I found out that Kaiser was put down because of an inoperable tumour in his jaw.
My mom buried his body on his favorite spot in the backyard with his favorite toy.

I am sad, because I didn’t see him, and I wasn’t there when he was put down.
I am sorry that I wasn’t there to hold him and pet him while he drifted to sleep.
Kaiser had a good life, and was a good cat. He was gentle and well behaved.
He loved climbing up on rooftops, but took him hours to climb back down.
He always took care of others first then himself.

He brought joy to alot of people and brought so much joy into my life.
I will miss him terribly and remember every birthday to honor his memory and how much I loved him, I still do and I miss him terribly. Rest well Kaiser, you will be for ever in my heart. I love you so much and I miss you. All my tears today will be for you and the memory of you, all the good times Kaiser. I love you.

sleep well.

Your mom, Anna

I made it through PAX and back!

You know, I’ve done some traveling in my life but I’ve never got this homesick.
Me and Liquilife drove down to PAX, the penny arcade video game expo being held in seattle.
We drove through the mountains and I didn’t even know that it was possible for your ears to pop while driving.
They did no the less and I went stone deaf! Good thing cause Liquilife was rambling about something less interesting.

As we approached Seattle, the suspense was at it’s peak, but as we entered the local traffic, the first thing I started thinking “WHOA! lets turn back! Cause this traffic is crazy!”
Of course we didn’t turn back, we came this far and we were going to see this through!
We found a glorious 1 star hotel called....star motel!
It was pretty bad folks, it was actually so bad, I didn’t even bother to take pictures of our room!
I am usually not the picky type but it was like a dog have had a flee-bath in there.
The sheets were gloriously burned with cigarettes (yummaaayh).

Either way, so we were now in Seattle, now to FIND the expo itself. Seattle, seriously! You’ve gotta do something about them roads!
I didn’t even know where I was most of the time, not to mention that Liquilife was flaming because of it!
After an hours ordeal that should’ve been a 7 minute drive, we found a garage!
Now here comes the lines!

Keep in mind that there was another room with a line filled like this

Look at that madness!!!! We were in line for a hour! Not only did I need to pee really badly, Liquilife still hasn’t calmed down from the entire “driving through Seattle” ordeal, so he was on a limb. I can almost say that if more things went wrong, he’d pull down his pants and would start to throw brownie cakes at people. So we enter the expo hall itself, so many people. Keep in mind folks, I don’t like crowds, never did and never will. I like being an anonymous person in some manor I suppose.

I think Godfree sits on a banana

I’ve met some nice buds I’ve known for a long time. GTR people and Blue skittle peeps. I was fairly overwhelmed, everyone seemed so energetic and I had a hard time going with the flow. Everyone were busy doing their thing so me and Liquilife went out marry way and did our thing, which is SHWAGGIN! We got so much swag that my shoulder and body still hurts.
I played some games in various booths, PGR4 looked awesome and Liquilife went rock and roll on Rock Band. We also did some Playstation Karaoke.
Now seeing Liquilife being told by a mashine how bad his voice is was a treat!!

image
I missed JVB, that he wasn’t there was a downer, but for him I took a picture with Masterchief!

First day of PAX ended and we were exhausted. Heading back to find our car was a mess. Ever seen the movie “dude, where is my car?”
Well...you get my drift, we went through 3 packing lots till we found our car!
We came back to the hotel and just passed out.

Second day started and Godfree was going to be represeting in a panel about blogging and podcasting.
Godfree did good, he has to be more aggressive, cause that JoyStick guy wouldn’t let anyone talk without interrupting!
Godfree got a specific question about podcasting, as he catch his breath the Joystick guy very rudely interrupted godfree.

image

Major Nelson did some punches on Nintendo and Playstation which in my opinion was pretty uncalled for, but hey, what can you do?

The day got better non the less!
I got a signed miniposter by Greg Rucka!

image
Behold it’s glory!

I also got a signed minicard by Caitlyn Glass - fullmetal alchemist!
I entered the competition to win signed dollies, but my luck only takes me so far!
Second day went by fast, since ma and Liquilife were doing some MAJOR SCHWAAAAAGGIN!

Behold! the glory of shwag!
image
Note that this is a queen sized bed!

Sunday came around and we went home, I have to say I was so happy to enter Spokane county.
There is no place like home!

Will I go back someday? Who knows. there is still alot of shwag in the world to find!

About 2 weeks ago, my husband brought home a Nintendo DS. I thought to myself that I won’t touch that thing!
To my surprise I got hooked on faster than a mouse to a USB port!

All in all we decided that it is for the best interest of our marriage if I got my own. It came in the mail the other day, I put in Animal Crossing and now it’s hard to stay away!
Animal Crossing is basically almost the same as Harvest moon ( I loved that game ).
What you do is pay off your house mortgage, catch bugs and fish, dig for fossils and watch your town grow!
What I first heard the title I figured it was a Pokemon breading game or something, where you mix match animals to create your own special livestock.
Even though that aspect was missing, it is still an amazing game!

You can even change your fashion on your guy/gal, it will have you stuck testing a whole bunch of different outfits to find what is right for you, and if you get bored with your characters look, you just change it again!

In Harvest Moon you had livestock to tend to, which is a feature that is somewhat missed in Animal Crossing, but not a disruptive one that effects the enjoyment of the game!
Because there is still so much to do!

Bring your shovel and lets dig us some Fossils!

I am coming home Britania

Have you ever played a game in which you enjoyed so tremendously, that you knew that one day you would return? Well I am coming home to you Britania, far to long have I been away from your glorious fiends (and without a doubt, some jerk has been in my house and fully robbed ever inch of it). Here is a little article I wrote about Ultima Online and my thoughts about it.

Enjoy

Oh look, I got shot, what a great storyline...
(To this glorious revolation, look at the top of my header)

There are a few things that are ticking me off.
360 is shooting out all these titles, 70 percent of them or more are FPS.
Why is it that I am bound to play first person shooter because of my friends?

They came out with final fantasy online, you know, its a great try, but for most people it’s scary and confusing and you have to do other things then lock and load and “RATTATTAATAA”.

I remember when me and my gaming buddies in my childhood had the same taste.
Squaresoft games, soulblazer(yeayea its not square), secret of mana, seiken dentsu,FF series etc. Games such as D and Phantasy star.

So, to my point, Final fantasy is to inconvenient for the FPS person, which is sad, since I like
that game. Then again, who would wanna pay 12 buchs a month just to keep me company?
I wouldn’t. What I would love to see xbox do is great a RPG, that is interactive with other people. A Classic RPG that satisfies the lust of the FPS person to just run around and kill.
Ask any FPS person, here is their list of played game in their “gaming career”

Ask them waht games they’ve played, and here is their list.
TOP TEN (gaming with variety ey?)
1 Doom
2 Castle Of wolfenstein
3 Quake
4 CounterStrike
5 Quake 2
6 Doom (the newer one)
7 Halo
8 Ghost Recon
9 Rainbow Six
10 Halo 2

“sure, I play other games ! what ya wanna play?! I got Rainbow, CP, Ghost Recon.....”
OK, when someone askes you “do you play other games”, they usually meen other gametype. Unless they’re a FPS person such as yourself.
When I someone asks me what other games I play. I say “PGR3, FFonline, Kingdom hearts, UNO etc”

A game that brought all sorts of games together was UO (Ultima online)

I remember UO, all types of gamers game to getting to kill, create armor, go to war, or just plain dress sin pink, go to a local bar and get drunk. Where humorous clowns could spend a day and a night just being stupid!
No strings attached!
And if you thought you weren’t man enough to bring down a Dragon, there were.....alternatives

If you had your share of spilled sheep blood, there was always the twin world feluccia.
You traveled there to mean jolly ol’ folks who were after nothing but to pull a wedgie on you, kill you, steal all your stuff and clothes and the key to your chests and house.
Lovely fellows! Either way Each time I traveled to feluccia, I had my brother with me. He always beat anyone as that was gonna take my house key.

You Rode across the country side meeting various people and morons and just plain weird people. Either way there was a mixed blend.

See. here is my problem. Half the time online I am forced to play FPS, simply since no one else plays RPG’s, so should I simply get new friends? Heck no! This is xbox live we are talking about. It’s filled with teenyboppers whom want nothing else but to attack my fragile person. Trash talking name bashing little squirts with pimples that only want to see me go deaf of their high pitched voices. So NO, I shouldn’t have to go out and make new friends, that part sucks!.

And even my own husband, is not a patient man, he can’t stand to be committed to something that takes longer to learn then the time it takes to crap out your bean sallad you had earlier.

Even worse, my worst fear, halo 3. People will go to FPS and play that game for ever on ends, I lost a lot of friends to the game and I fear that I will loose even more.
I respect peoples gaming of choice, but why do I have to compromise?
So here is my shout out to xbox, Please. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GROWN UP! put a game out there that is liked by both FPS people and myself! It’s really simple, all you gotta do is create an rpg but you can toggle the view to be FPS!

I swear! If I hear the word halo in the terms of “halo 3 is going to be sweet!"  “yea halo 3 i cant wait” . I’m gonna freak! The game is NOT that great! Sure it has its cool design, awesome aliens and humanity in trouble( hmmmmm...sounds familiar?) It’s original variety of online games(stolen from PDZ) And oooooh, lets not forget, the infestation and the sea of morons that want nothing but to get to you and make you feel like crap! Don’t even think about convincing me not to listen, I am a self critic and a sensitive person. I just cant stop having feelings.!

NO THANKS!! till halo goes away, Ill have my head jammed in a chocobos ass!

Tales of Pirates - The Anjo Adventure

Current mood: amused Posted by Anjo Banjo on 04/07 at 11:34 AM | Skype:

As I was surfing the gigantic place called the internet, I came across a banner. The banner captures my attention since it said the 3 words I love! MMORPG, FREE and PIRATES!
While I was registrating I was still looking for that litte button that requires your creditcard number, but rest assure, nothing as such was found anywhere.

What is Tales of Pirates you say?
A few years a go an onlne MMORPG came out called Ragnarok online. Though it’s beta generated a huge audience, it has slowly died by every passing month. Most people claimed they left because it got boring, well here is my theory!
IT GOT TO EXPENSIVE!
What does this have to do with tales of pirates you say? Well the design of the game is very similar, it has the classic snes RPG graphics that reminds you of Secret of Mana. In other words. Cute pixel anime graphics. Registration online for Tales of pirates is like every online MMORPG registration a pain, but trust me, it is worth it!

The games name is a big givaway. You are a pirate and you are suposed to do pirate things, such as getting a ship, travel the seas looking for treasure! This is not a game for the weakhearted, there are a bunch of cute looking monsters that you will have to conquer to level up.

What you do first is go through a profile and character creating sequence. It’s easy to navigate and doesn’t take much time. Ofcourse choises are limited (the game is free after all) but you can still creater the pirate version that lurks within you! Here is a little screenshot of my character being born into the world of Pirates!

image
Here you can change face, hairstyle, gender and such to costumize the pirate within you!

image
You choose what part of the world you wish to start! I Picked the one that looked less evil.

image
Log in with your newbie character and get into the spirit of Piracy!

Time to play the game! They throw you in a city with a whole bunch of people walking around you! Usually I am a very social person but they start your character in their underooz. So here I am, walking around in my undiez looking like an obvious noob. It took me a while to realize that I had clothing in my inventory screen. So yea, now I have clothing, good huh? I still have a title that tells everyone that I am a noob, people around me tell me to join the newbie guild. At first I thought it was a mochery, someone was making fun of the biggest pirate there is and always will be.  Again I quickly realize that there is such a thing called Newbie guild! In shame I drag my feet to the newbie guild and get my first assignment (talking to the blacksmith and other “need to know” townfolks).

image
DUDE! Where are my clothes?

So after spending a few hours in the safety of the city, I decide to take a peak outside the citygates! What wonders will await me? What’s in stored for the likes of me? Anjo ZE Pirate! HEre is where Ragnarok comparesment comes into play, the monsters weren’t hidious or scary at all, they were very adorable. It was a shame that so many plants have fallen dead by my hands! The humanity!!

image

Shorly after I started my distruction I met a fellow pirate who was kind enought to help me level up. He was also very informative about what I am suposed to do. How to get weapon upgrades and what quest are available to me! The more I played the more I fell inlove with the community aspect of the game. People in game are a very helpful bunch! After all, we are all brothers and sisters in the name of Piracy. Like any RPG, leveling up in the beggining is easy enought, the higher your level gets, the longer it takes for you to reach your next level.

image
Wasn’t I recently LvL 1?

Another wonderful aspect of your game is that you have a littlte treasure chest in your inventory, as you level up you get more awesome gear to wear. So you don’t have to pay for weapons if you don’t want to!

image
What Level is the duckman?  -10? I want a funky duckoutfit too!!

The game can tend to get a bit laggy depending on how many players are logged into the server. It does not disturb the gameplay itself. It can be a bit annoying at times but it does not happen that often. There is a small learning curve on how to controll your character. The game has the auto run function so your character can sometimes spin out of controll and run around as if he/she is being chased by a horde of toothless turtles! Again, once you learn to controll the character it will only help you in your gaming experience! I’ve put alot of hours in the game, I am yet to have my own pirateship and plunder! As with every RPG patience is a virtue, things do take time but once you really get “into it”. You will realize how much fun you can have joining other players in finding treasure! I usually only have to play 15 minutes before I get an offer to join a party and then im off!! Twards new adventures and heroism! The winds of adventuring was calling us twards the northwest, as we reached the ocean we saw two ships in battle! I just stood there and stared blankly into the sea. It’s a wonderful aspect that you can have a ship and battle other pirates. I haven’t reached a high enought level yet to finish the really big quests. My latest quest took me to a swamp. The landscape diversity is well planned and big. You can run any direction for a few minutes and you will end up surrounded by a new scenery. I haven’t had the oppertunity to visit other citys yet, and that too is a driving force for me.
Another great aspect is the possibility of zooming in, zooming out and changing of the angle (for the picky gamer). You can customize your own angle and change it when needed.

image
I see your Shwartz is as bigger then mine!
image
It’s easy to find people to play with when a whole marketplace is filled with fellow players. Wonderful community!

What are you waiting for? THE SEA IS CALLING! Sail up and twards the sunset!

DC needs Pimpege

My good friends at DC combat are a hardworking bunch to keep up a ladder gaming site aimed for competing gaming enthusiast.
here soon they will have a Springtime blow out filled with competitions and fabulous prizes for the avid gamer.

DC Crash, The admin leader of the site was kind enough to fill me up on the details oh when where what and huh?

I’ve been a lurking forum visitor over at Digital combat for over 4 months now, and the professionalism of the staff is astounding. DC is not only a gaming community, its a place to visit and join if you wish to sink your teeth into heavy gaming testosterone and feast on the juice of competition. DC, as a professional ladder site is the best one I’ve seen out on the Internet. I do not join in the gaming fun cause I don’t like what competition turns me into.
Without any further delay, here is my interview with the admin ruler DC CRASH

DC CRASH INTERVIEW BANJO STYLE

Anjo Banjo: So crash, tell me a little bit about your work at Digital combat?

DC CRASH: Well, I am, err how do I put this.....

Anjo Banjo : Between you butt cheeks now spit it out.smile

DC CRASH : I am the newly appointed lead administrator. I am in charge of the overall competitions played on Dc for GRAW, Rainbow six and GEARS of WAR. I am also the creation and one of the co-host of the newly created digital combat podcast.

Anjo Banjo : Sounds important, what do you do to require such a heavy responsibility on such a vast growing ladder site?

DC CRASH : WOW! Alright!I’ve been hardcore gamer for the past 3-4 years now, but a gamer non the less all my life, when I got xbox life I wanted to strive towards something more interactive, Ive been in various teams but never felt really at home till I found DC. I gave up competitive gaming just recently, and I am completely devoted to give gamers what they want. To have fun and complete without being putt down or harassed and BS around if they so wish. Come play have some fun and be competitive, but most of all have fun.

Anjo Banjo : No but seriously, why are you doing this?

DC CRASH : I thought you just explained it…

Anjo Banjo : Sorry, I was just being a journalist and getting some dirt of you. I see that you are a worthy adversary.

DC CRASH : I love gaming, and gaming is supposed to be fun. Separate yourself from reality and leave stress in your back pocket.

Anjo Banjo : So tell me about this spring time blow out, does it contain spring break with the girls gone wild?

DC CRASH :  No, unfortunately no ha ha, but there are prizes. T shirts/Microsoft points/gift certificates to EB/possible secret sponsorship with more prices to come. I guarantee it will be the best competition out there with a great community.

Anjo Banjo : Personally, I such at shooters, If I ask nicely, can I have a price?

DC CRASH : We will give you a t shirt!

Anjo Banjo :  Sweet!!! Now I don’t have to go cloth shopping for a year! But seriously , a nice gesture non the less, you got my presidential vote. CRASH for president!

Anjo Banjo:  So Crash, this has been fun, any last words you’d like to say to my 3 readers?

DC CRASH : Come to DC combat! If there are 3, then this was worth it. Come have fun, play some games, that is what its all about. We will welcome you with open arms!

Wii finally have IT!

Current mood: loved Posted by Anjo Banjo on 01/21 at 02:04 PM | Skype:

I woke up 5.30 this morning to get ready and get myself a Wii! I couldn’t sleep I was so exited! Best buy had about 30 of them today. Me and my husband went there early (8ish) trampeling in the cold snow.

We passed by Target and saw people in Que. They we’re having Wii’s today as-well. That Que was maxed out non the less so we continued on our path to BestBuy. As we arrive there are 4 people ahead of us, 3 of them vanish to another store that would open earlier. It bumped us up to second place! It was fun talking to the people in line! All videogamers and leet pawning geeks that made me feel right at home, as if we were speaking the same language!

As the time progressed closer to opening time, the larger the line!

About 40 minutes before they’ve opened they gave us a ticket so we could do and get ourselves a cup of coffee. Brilliant step! We kept our place in line and could go to safe-way and get a nice hot cuppahcoffee! We came back 15 minutes before the doors opened and the line had grown till at least 40 people! We claimed our rightful place in line as NR 2. The gaming debates continued and kept on doing so till the doors opened. People walking up fast, as I looked around I lost my husband. He was waaaay up front running towards a table and picked 1 of the two extra controllers, nun-chuck and wiimote!  Damn huligan! We picked up our Wii and of the pay the bill got into a cab. We came home 20 minutes later and we’re hooking everything up, unpacking the Wii motes etc.

We started with bowling and as of yet tested out every game available on the Wii sports CD! So much fun! If you still don’t have a Wii, GET ONE!! :D

What started as a site that focused mainly on dolls that are cute, is now reaching out to different audiences!
As we have had a few “goth” dolls on the site, members still assume that we need more. So here are the dolls to come!

Want someone that fights for your right as a gamer?
Tired of the people that make the genderalisation more obvious?
Need someone that listens and is willing to make your gaming world an equal place to be?
Tired of the exposure that one gender gets because of their gender?

As a big Anime fanatic, I appreciate all different styles in anime. One of my all time favorite is Fruit Basket. It’s a beautiful story of a girl named Honda. Her being temporarily homeless she gets offered to move into the home of the Sohma family. The Sohma family have a secret that they don’t want Honda to find out about. The secret is that whenever they get a hug from a female, they turn into a animal in the chinese zodiac. Crazyness, sad moment, happyness and love. It’s a wonderfull story of how a girls heart was big enought to accept peoples differences.

It includes the avatar maker that I’ve been working on.
Create your own Avatar! Look like an animecharacter!

A videogame character has been added as well, Kairi from Kingdom hearts (the teenage version).
Kingdom hearts is a personal favorite of mine, who would think that Disney mixed with square-soft design would work out so well?

A very happy holiday from Mickey and Minnie!

I also continue my venture into creating all the Sailor soldiers from sailor moon!
My upcoming one is sailor Mercury.

Here is a little preview

This is all from the Leet hobo for now.

Wii won’t stop hurting people!

Nintendo Wii strikes again, a man gets injured while waiting for the stores to open and get himself a Wii. It makes me twitch cause after all, I am Swedish, and my people are hurtin’! - Anjo Banjo

image

A Swedish man who had worked very hard to make sure he was first in line had a bit of catastrophe strike him while waiting. Turns out, his appendix burst right there while waiting. After a 48 hour stay in the hospital, he was right back in line, the very first customer waiting out for his Wii.

The manager of the store, with his infinite kindness, held the gentleman’s place in line for him. So, short stay in a warm hospital bed eating disgusting food, only to be discharged 48 hours later and assume his place back outside in the cold, cold line, his only company the other fanboys populating the line, eating greasy fried foods? Sounds like dedication to us, and that, we admire.

Me and Gabriel were talking, and an idea came to me. Wouldn’t it be awesome if our forum members at CDE could create their own little custom made animestyle avatars? Yes, that would be awesome! In fact, I already worked on it, and it’s late now and I am really tired. Anyways it was fun, about 162 files made for this project, but it was worth it!

Here is an example of what an avatar can look like with some of the many accessories

Coming soon to CDE and it will also be linked from my site!

In the process of creating a doll you have to make clothing, hats, shoes etc. Usually my files keep around 20, but this time I broke my record! 82 files!
82 accessories to be able to maximize customisation into my new creation! She has wigs, eyes, eyelashes, jewelry, nail-polish, lipstick and much much more.

Here is how I made her up!

She is not up on the CDE site yet! So its a little sneak-peak!

I had to digg through my closet to see what I wear more frequent then anything else, it wasn’t an easy challenge, but I finally came to terms that I only have 3 pairs of shoes! Make sure you also visit my dollie section where almost all the dolls I’ve created so far can be dressed up, and played with!

Why Is liquilife more popular then me?

Maybe It’s just cause I am married to the guy. It’s the “behind every great man is a blind woman” syndrome! The invisible spouse that does the thinking, planning and the cooking. I sometimes pretend I am more then that, show me some luv and fill out my pixelboard!!

Beer tycoon?

Now here is a game for an adult gamer to appreciate, basically what I dug up about this game is that you are supposed brew your own beer! Now I don’t know if this beer will leak out of your USB port on your computer or how it will work. What I do know is all all drunken PC gamers will appreciate this game from the tycoon series. I always wondered how I would do as a beer maker, now I can find out by getting people drunk on my beer virtually! Sweet!

Beer Tycoon is to be released in January.

Final fantasy 12

Basic info from IGN:

As war looms on the horizon, the mighty Archadian Empire begins a campaign to subjugate its neighbors. To Vaan, a young man living on the streets of Rabanastre, the Empire is a hated enemy who took the life of his brother. Planning on exacting revenge by breaking into the palace, Vaan gets more than he bargained for as he runs into Princess Ashe, the sole surviving heir to the Dalmascan throne. Together, the two embark on an incredible journey tracing the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire’s invasion.

Anjo Banjos experience.

One of the most anticipated games is out and kicking. To my surprise, my husband had picked me up a copy of FF12 and a gaming manual for it. Usually I am not the type that reads a manual while playing a video game, I simply enjoy the artwork and pictures in it. As you progress into the game, the manual gets in handy with it’s customezation charts.
When I saw the intro, It blew me away and dragged me in. Amazing! Unfortunately the graphics to not hold the same quality throughout the entire game. In my opinion ( I know all you guys that are into hardcore graphics throughout games will hate me right now) it’s the storyline I love! Pirates and the characters. WOOHOO.

It starts with a tutorial, you learn the controls and the simple commands (it gets worse). A slight confusion kicks in because of all the customization you have to do to survive battles.
As the game follows the music and artistic style of its earlier cousins, this game is hard! The enemies are tougher. I am the type that stands on a battle area till my characters are good leveled to handle the upcoming tasks with ease.

image

Here is how this goes down. You get thrown in a catacomb! You fight rats and other measly creatures! (all hail my glory!) Then on the way back (after having a few things collapse on you and people wanna kill you) the monsters have gained super powers! All of a sudden the battles are hard and they are everywhere!  I went from battling measly rats, to Giant frogs, ghosts and other crappy, but oddly funny things.

That’s the thing I like about this, real time gaming! I could run away, In all other final fantasy games, you didn’t have that possibility...oooohno (ofcourse you had the option to run away but it did not always work). You HAD to fight, but then again, the monsters we always beatable. This time, I wasn’t so sure. Like I stated earlier they’ve gotten harder to beat. While I was in the castle stealing treasure, they were pumping up on steroids while watching Chuck Norris.

I had 30 potions entering the catacombs, after I came out of them I was faced with a firehorse!!! (make sure non of your party members fart) I had to use my companions as baits, and heal them while they did all the fighting (thank god for cure magic), cause honestly, I only had 4 potions left when the boss battle started.

Sure that my demise was unavoidable, I kept fighting till I ran out of everything. The boss dies and I feel relieved. I was finally hoping to come out of those dark dungeons and out explore the world ( I pretty much also have to build up my characters level wise. All of a sudden, my party is surrounded by a bunch of guards that throw me in prison! Hazzaaaah)

Other than a rocky start and a few adjustments, its a very attractive game. You have your magic, you have your weapons, the summons are still there, moogles, chocobos (now to find CID!) and best of all AIRSHIPS! With airships in a game, you cant go wrong! (esp with the ladies)

image

What is also a new aspect to the game is a wonderful function that sets a customary battle mode for your companions. Lets face it, the battles can get pretty messy, that’s why you can now set gadgets. This way if you see yourself dying, your companion (who “cures” an ally when HP reaches 70 %) will heal you, the battle commands can be pre set to your liking (before battle). What this game borrows from ff10, are the “sphere system”. When you kill an enemy not only do you get XP, you get points and those points are used for buying skills. It doesn’t look like the sphere grid like in ff10, but the concept is the same. Also what’s’ new ( and to my opinion, pretty well annoying) is that before you buy a weapon you need to use your points to buy a license for that particular weapon. All that is also included in the grid.

A cool thing in the game that took me by surprise is that some monsters are neutral, or friendly (of course some are just plain Jerks!) For instance, while my party was being attacked by a pack of wolves, a dinosaur (yea you heard me) comes to my aid! Like Sir Lancelot for queen Guenevere! He eats up the wolf and walks away which was a good thing, cause I was a couple of blows from dying. There are also monsters that heal you. The interaction of the game is revolutionary ( in my opinion). I don’t think I’ve seen a monster that just eats another while you battle it, have you? Even though the dinosaur saved me, I could’ve killed it if I so wished, but I will do it later (he looked pretty damn big)

This concludes my first impression of final fantasy 12, there will be more reports as it goes along.
I will continue calling my party members morons since they have this annoying habit of using up all my potions and still manage to get themselves killed.

Hello, my name is Anna. People mostly know me as Anjo Banjo (my xbox gamer tag and user name on various community sites). I am a married gamer and an artist. I am a very active community person and a low class workaholic. I spend most of my days drawing dolls for http://www.cartoondollemporium.com and chit chatting away on skype with my friends.

I am a Swede that came to America and married a very annoying but wonderful guy (liquilife)

I mostly enjoy videogames of the genere Racing, RPG (squaresoft rules), puzzle and once in a while a good shooter comes out.

Here I will talk about my gaming experiences, my artwork, political views and just some random things I find interesting on the Internet.
As for the hobo part, well my glasses broke. So I have been thinking of this would make me a trendsetter, or just a hobo.
My boss started that I look more like a hobo then a trendsetter, hence the anjo banjo married hobo syndrome came into place.

So follow me on my journey of making Hobo’ism a fashion statement!

I’m out
